He then also classifies epilepsy into simple (partial) and complex epilepsy and tells us the differences in them. The relationships of various brain structures with epilepsy are also given in details. The history questions for a suspected patient of epilepsy are also talked about and furthermore, pseudo-seizures are also discussed. The difference between a true seizure and a pseudo-seizure are also told. Towards the end of the lecture, Dr Najeeb also discusses about various drugs used in different types of epilepsies, also highlighting about status epilepticus and its management, along with the various side effects of phenytoin and other anti epileptics.
